My husband and I live in upstate NY and wanted to purchase a condominium in Southeast Florida. We got Michelle's name from an acquaintance here in NY that had purchased a home through her. We started the search process last fall. Michelle, without even meeting us in person, sent us a variety of condominiums on a daily basis. We went down there in November of 2023 to look at a handful of condos and to meet Michelle in person. She arranged a full day of viewings which helped her to understand what our needs and wants were. We did not purchase then as we weren't quite ready just yet. Michelle continued to send us condominium listings that matched our needs and wants. My husband then connected with Michelle this past spring and she was able to get him into a brand new listing and it turned out to be exactly what we wanted! Going through the purchasing process would not have been as smooth as it was without Michelle's assistance. I recently had the opportunity to work with Michelle De Benedictis, a colleague at Balistreri Real Estate. Michelle represented the Tenant and I the Landlord. We had a challenging situation to get the Tenant approved by the Association before the requested move in date and before the tenant closed on the sale of her property a week out. Neither deadline could be adjusted and we were at the mercy of the Management company to help us achieve a rather simple goal to get the tenant approved. The details of the challenge were complex as it was multi-faceted. After much follow-up for all parties, Michelle with her incredible talent for communicating wrote a compelling letter to the Management office and shortly thereafter we had an approval. My father chose Michelle to sell his home in July 2025. He wasn’t a fan of technology, but Michelle immediately understood that about him — she took the time to meet in person, walk him through every document, and make sure he always felt comfortable and informed. She gave him the kind of one-on-one attention that’s rare these days, and he appreciated her so much for that. There were a few unexpected hurdles with the sale, including some complicated permit issues. Michelle helped my dad navigate those challenges patiently and skillfully. When my father became ill in August and passed away before the closing, my sister and I suddenly had to step in to finish what he’d started.
